About Us
Hold Fast Counseling Services, LLC is an outpatient clinical mental health practice opened in June 2018 serving individuals age 14 and up. It is run by Ashley Lamers, MSE LPC, with the assistance of Erica Webel for clinical billing and administration. Hold Fast also occasionally hosts and supervises graduate students as they move through their practicum hours for professional counseling.

Meet Ashley Lamers, MSE LPC (she/her)
Mental health is an ongoing, sometimes crushing process. As tough as mental health challenges can be, no one should have to face it alone. We all develop ways of thinking and coping to help us survive or reduce pain in certain situations. Problems arise when we continue to use those patterns when they no longer serve us helpfully in the life we’re living. But change and healing are more than possible- we are hardwired to grow and heal. This is not to say we need to be “fixed,” but rather we can use our own strengths to pursue more skillful ways of living with who we are and what we’re facing.
I opened Hold Fast Counseling Services, LLC to team up with clients to
-
build awareness
-
fortify internal and relational connections
-
develop meaning in the intersections of our experiences and identities
-
support development and expression of gratitude and joy
-
and flourish!
Wherever you are in life and in your process, together we will approach it with dignity, honor, respect, integrity, and ruthless compassion.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies (2012) and master’s degree in Professional Counseling (2018) at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. In my personal life, I love animals, dancing, hardcore and new wave music, horror movies, coffee, good food, and spending time with family and friends enjoying the aforementioned things.
Meet Erica Webel
My desire is to walk alongside those who are searching and providing health and healing, and make that as seamless of a process as possible by assisting with questions, billing, and any other logistics needed. I currently reside in Texas, but spent the last 20 years living overseas where my husband and I had our 5 kiddos. I have a BBA in Management, and am so grateful for the ability to work remotely.

I adore my family and consider them one of my biggest blessings and greatest missions in life to raise my kids well! I love people and have learned how much we need community and support to thrive. Through my years overseas I have found such a deep appreciation for different cultures and still love to travel and explore. I've been given much, and want to give back!
And I enjoy the opposite movies and music as Ashley, but YES to the coffee!!
